Sport Central’s Bike Shop is one of the largest repair facilities in Edmonton, receiving over 3,000 donated bicycles per year. Of the 3,000 bikes, 2,300 are repaired and given to children or sent overseas. Each year 700 bicycles are either harvested for parts and recycled or shipped overseas to developing countries in the Global South through the Emmanuel Foundation.
